The days of being satisfied with the proximity light given off by the typical, lightweight headlamp are over. Black Diamond is the first to introduce Hyperbright LED technology. What does that mean? Hyperbright LED is five times brighter then the traditional LED lights we have all learned to love.

The Zenix is manufactures using 3 LED bulbs, two are Superbright and one is a lensed Hyperbright. This allows for both an intense, high focus beam that can reach up to 35 meters and a lower proximity option for around camp. The approximate burn time at full strength is 12-15 hours, and 140hrs if just using the 2 Superbrights. And unlike xenon bulbs, LEDs will never need replacing.

This little blazer weighs in at just 3.3oz and runs on 3 AAA batteries (weighs 4.5oz with batteries). The Zenix is highly durable and compact. It is tested to IPX waterproof standards allowing it to perform in the harshest weather conditions.
